Earthship Community be during the day if possible. It's Dark!
*Directions
from Taos to the HelioHouse Rental Earthship:
Stay on HWY 68 ( PASEO DEL PUEBLO SUR) through Taos going North
through the town.
When
you see the the sign for the Taos Pueblo on the right, stay LEFT
(Road then changes to PASEO DEL PUEBLO NORTE) and go through the
town of El Prado.
You
will come to a major intersection. At
this point, you have a choice to either go North on HWY 522, (right
to the Ski Valley) or left on HWY 64 to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge.
Choose LEFT ON HWY 64 to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge.
Earthship
World Headquarters is on the right, about 1.5 miles past the Rio
Grande Gorge Bridge. There is a sign that says,"Earthship Biotecture".
Pass
the headquarters, Lone Tree and Shell Lanes . You'll also pass
a cow crossing sign and a rocky berm. There is a post with 3 reflectors right before you need to
take a right onto the gravel road which is Earthship Way. Signposts are not well marked.
Gorge View Rd is to the left, so--Keep
right, Earthship way veers to the right, follow the road past
High Meadow Drive.
The
next road is Happy Trail. You can only turn right-The rental is the last house at the
end of the cul-de-sac.
Once you've reserved your stay, you'll be provided with a confirmation letter with your booking details and other helpful information.
